ENE 480 Lab 2 Section 2
I sampled the Tacoma Hills pond this morning at 9:15 AM. Note: the pond has an outlet to the Red Cedar River and during high
flows in the river the water flows into the pond from the river. While sampling, I met John B. Ohlrogge, Professor Emeritus of Plant Biology. According to him the pond is spring-fed. I will try to see if I can confirm this.
North side: Field pH 8.36; Temperature: 6.9 C
Side side: Field pH 8.59; Temperature: 7.4 C
