Week 4

I walked four miles Saturday, which made me very, very happy.
Greetings,
I want to remind you that Monday's lecture has been pre-recorded and the link is posted on LON-CAPA in the Lab 1 folder. I apologize for this but our ABET accreditation visit is this week and as lead for the ENE program and co-lead for the CE program, I must be available to the evaluators. Monday's lecture provides background material for Lab 1, which you will work on the weeks of 9/26 and October 3. I have also provided review material on hardness and alkalinity in the Lab 1 folder. Next week we will discuss the lab project you will do.
This week in lab you should plan to meet in the Trans Lab (EBE 3540). You will work on Assignment 1, which must be completed individually. For Assignment 1 you will work on your statistical analysis and graphing skills. There are several videos on statistical analysis as shown below. There is also material on graphing on LON-CAPA. Assignment 1 is in it's own folder along with the Excel Spreadsheets you'll need to complete the assignment and the dropbox for submission. You should be able to make significant progress on the assignment during this week's lab. Shardula will be present in the lab to answer any questions you may have. The assignment is due on Friday September 30, 2022 for both sections.
